During the pre-match meeting held at Lavender Inn Hotel Moroto for the game between Karamoja Province and Westnile Province to be played today at 3pm at Naitakwae Sports complex, Moroto, the attendees collected a total of 150000/= to support the save Karamoja campaign.
Toko Badru Tok the chief mobiliser for the campaign requested the Fufa team to support Karamoja with cash donations. The people in attendance from, Fufa, Westnile Province team and Karamoja Province team randomly collected cash to support the drive.
The cash was handed over to the Chairperson Karamoja Province Johnson Ngirya by the match Commissioner Anthony Tumwesigye on behalf of Fufa with a promise of helping to loby for more funding to the karamoja teams from the top office.
This campaign will continue during the game where advocates will be moving around the pitch side collecting cash from well wishers watching the match.
