The Leopards of Karamoja will at exactly 3pm today, Sunday 14th August 2022 at Naitakwae sports complex, Moroto, in a heated contest host the white Rhinos of Westnile in a decider of who goes to the next round of the competition.
Although Karamoja province is already trailing by 5-0 heading into this fixture, the players at the camp believe everything is possible in football and confident to turn around the fixture.
Raphael Komakech the team captain Karamoja province, said they will use the home advantage and the experience of the field against the visitors and they hope to score more than 5 goals to qualify for the quarter finals.
Daniel Okwii, a defender for the Karamoja province said they have learnt the tactics used by the strikers of Westnile and they are no longer a threat at goal. He added that this day will be in history as it will be the first win for Karamoja against the westnile team.
Westnile has never scored more than once against Karamoja at home with the two previous occasions being 1-1 draw and 1-0 win in the Karamoja land.
