Acholi province is to host Buganda province in the quarter final of the FUFA drum 2022 at Kitgum Bomah grounds in Kitgum district on the Sunday 11, 2022.
On Tuesday 6, 2022 today, the head Coach Acholi province Mr. Akena Geoffrey and his technical staff held a press conference at Kitgum Bomah Grounds ahead of Sunday game pledging to defend the FUFA drum title that the province won in Lira district in 2019.
Acholi province will host the defending champion of 2018 Buganda province in the quarter final that will be play at Bomah Ground in Kitgum district. In 2019, Acholi province beat Buganda province 1-0, the goal scored by Tito Okello former Vipers player.
Acholi province will also play a friendly game on Friday either with Pajule lions football club or the Newly promoted Star times Uganda premier league’s Black power FC.
The team captain Acholi province Mr. Okot Denis AKA Jemba appealed for maximum support from funs either financially or during the games since the team is motivated to win.
