Newly elected Kitgum boda boda leaders

Kitgum boda boda association members today 30th January,2023 held their election after the services of the previous leaders was earlier called off by the Resident District Commissioner last year due to incorporation.

Stage masters of different sub-counties gathered at Kitgum boma ground to elect their district representatives that included the chairperson and the executives.

Mr. Christopher Oryem, the newly elected chairperson for Kitgum united boda boda association called upon the elected executives to make the proper use of their offices in this due term and that the positions attained are not to lean to anybody whether being close friends.

Christopher promised to use his team in the office to change Kitgum boda members to a different image in the greater north.

Resident District Commissioner Kitgum district Hajj.Marijan Walire thanked the stage masters for their representation and participation in the elections he described as free and fair.

Mr. Walire called upon the District leaders to cooperate with the Municipal leaders and the office of the district security to ease the work of the elected leaders.

Hajj. Marijan also called upon the chairperson to condemn any habit of corruption which has been a common practice by the previous leaders
